OK I listen by clicking on the popup player either on the homepage or the forums, I am guessing that will work per usual and stuff...
however, if they get some money from downloading the show through talkshoe, does that mean i should just do it through there?

Can someone who speaks english in addition to tech provide a brief synopsis of what all this hullabulloo is all about? I mean damn there are like 8 threads on this topic.

There are two ways to make money using TalkShoe: 1) By becoming a host or 2) By referring a host . You can earn even more by being a host and referring others!

Hosts can easily create their own Talkcasts. The more episodes you create, the more you earn. Why? Every time someone listens to, subscribes to, or downloads your recorded podcast, you earn money. When you refer a host, you get a bonus of 25% of whatever that host earns in the next 12 months. TalkShoe will cut you a check every month or pay you via PayPal - your choice.

Also, I wonder if we'll start to hear even longer and longer shows:

When you host Talkcast episodes, you are paid $5.00 for each of your first 10 recorded episodes (to help you get started). You also earn money when people listen (live participants and downloads of recordings), based on the length of your episodes and actual advertising revenues. Your TalkShoe Cash earnings are regularly updated and reported, and can be found by clicking the "myCash" button on your myTalkShoe page.

Now we know why 10 episodes showed up right away in the new feed.

plain and simple the shows moved house, if you want new stuff you need to go to the new address not the old. the old stuff shows 1-485 might move or might stay were they are or might disappear altogether, we don't know.

both the players are going to libsyn (the old house), they (KATG/MichaelA?) will need to update the player to the new location (the new house) for you to listen via the site.

for now there's a player on the talkshoe page you can use. (click the listen button)

Yup, all my old shows downloaded on iTunes just imploded. Time to destroy the Talkshoe servers re-downloading...

really annoying when you save every show you listen to (i listen to two shows a day these days, one new one and one repeat and then repeats on weekends) and it's now gone.

i guess if you add the files back and make sure you don't subscribe again that should be ok but not sure how the ipod is going to handle it...could suck to have two Keith and the girl sections in that and not know which i go to to get new shows etc.

i'm sure keith has good reason, no use complaining - it is his show and if you like it enough to change the feed than you deserve it. if you can't be bothered then go find dawn and drew again or something, they're into apathy.

you can add the old feed back and have both itunes doesn't seem bothered, i just tried it.
this gives you 2 entries in itunes btw

if you used an itunes link then itunes directory might change the feed.
