I'm getting married on July 18th, this is my dress:



I went shoe shopping the other day and fell in love with some shoes. The typical bride shoe is white, however, the shoes that I fell in love with don't come in white, they come in bronze, black and red. My wedding color theme is red (bridesmaid dresses and red roses for bouquets) Do you think red shoes are a faux pas? Personally I think it would be hot but some other family members disagree. What do you guys think?

I like the idea of red shoes. But you probably shouldn't listen to me if you're concerned about proper wedding etiquette. I don't actually believe in marriage.

i wore light gold shoes with my ivory wedding dress and it looked pretty good.
if you have other red going on it will look good!

If you like them do it its you wedding I imagine it would be quite pretty peaking out under the hem plus you just got the butterfly tattoo, right? Nobody is gonna coment on your shoes I think.
I would consider the bronze ones for a more traditional approach depending on what jewelery you will wear.

I have almost 19 pairs of Chuck Taylor Hi-Tops alone and here's the pic. I fuckin' love shoes. Not included in picture: boots and dress shoes.
