Tings that bother you a lot more than they should

People who use the word "gay" as way to describe something in a negative connotation.

I just think its immature and its a part of our language that can be easily omitted out of the respect of gay people.

I also hate the constant use of God or Jesus in a non religious way. Your perpetuating the stereotype that people are supposed to believe in God. Nothing pisses me off more than when someone says "Thank God" which I promptly reply with: "Thank who?"

This is a harder part of our language to change since it is so ingrained in our culture. When you look at the big picture it would be a great step towards religious equality to stop speaking this way since your either un intentionally insulting a non religious person or your using someone else lords name in vein, which they also don't appreciate.

I expect to get alot of shit for my language sensitivity but take a second to notice and count how many times the words God, Jesus, Christ, heaven, and hell are used publicly and especially used during television, movies, and sports broadcasts. Its WAY to much.

It is so bad, it is literally a challenge to not use religion based language on a daily basis out of context.

Its an easy argument, even in from a perspective of stereotypical flamboyance and an over the top use of "I want to kill" it is a horse shit homophobic rhetoric/enabling to tolerate people who use that word in a negative way.

The other thing I have discovered is my use of the phrase opposite sex. Since i have actually made a handful of homosexual friends I have found myself using the word "desired sex" instead of "opposite sex".

Its all about respect, if you want to receive you better give.
