You have to teach them how to properly use one in order to curb the retards that look down the barrel of a loaded weapon. I took alot of firearm safety courses andhave seen what misuse can do. You also have to teach people how to shoot a firearm properly so it doesn't harm them when they pull the trigger.

I loved this video and it only made me want to go the the range. It's been a couple of months since I've shot anything besides in Call of Duty. That double auto HK's looked fun!

Like someone mentioned, I'd personally be wary of teaching the kids how to use the fully automated machine guns, but still I agree. Hell, my dad's a full-blown hunter and NRA member, taught me every once in a while how to shoot and all that.

I get that this is footage of a full-auto shoot designed for recreational purposes, but those have got to be some of the worst stances and control I've seen in a long time.

I'm really not sure why people NEED to learn how to shoot a gun. The only reason they exist is the kill things. Why the fuck would I encourage my children to play with ('respect') that. Coming from a country that doesn't allow the average citizen to have a gun, I find the whole thing bizzare.

People only NEED to learn how to use the tools they intend to use in their lifetime. If you are certain that you would never use a particular weapon to defend your life or the life of your children, then you are correct, you don't NEED to learn how to use it. Being American and a big fan of it, I think all Americans should know how to use the BIG TWO: the English language (in written and oral forms) and some form of arms. I am, however, very open minded: I'm good as with a quill and a musket as I am with a PC and a Glock 17.

I also agree with Motown. It amazes me that my Hippie friends haven't made the effort to ban caffeine in the under 21 set.

@ Alexandra, fine, you can all shoot each other til your little hearts are content, but I think that there is a direct correlation between your obsession with gun ownership and your overt international agression - America as a nation has a huge sense of entitlement when it comes to international relations.

I think that it stems from the attitudes you learn as kids about guns and how to deal with conflict (amongst other things). So shoot each other as much as you want but leave the rest of us alone, and stops being such bullies.

Bullies often find that they get fucked over by all the little guys they pushed around in the end...

And just to say something directly to your point. I don't honestly think that having a gun will make me any safer. If someone wants to take me out, they will. And then they'll have an extra gun when they steal mine. Where do all your illegal guns come from?
