And that is a great way of putting things.

Just think of the people in the future that may be abused, raped, or possibly killed as a result of this "guy". Even though it may be embarrassing, the rape I mean, you should not feel ashamed because of it. You did not somehow ask to be raped, and you were not in someway "getting what you deserved".

Plus once he gets the punishment he deserves, you will feel a sense of empowerment that you otherwise will not feel. Sure, it may not be the best way to look at things, but just remember that you are helping society by putting this scum away.

2. This is more proof that 14 year olds lack the maturity to make good decisions regarding dating and sexuality......just saying.

you speak as if every drunken party out there ends in a girl getting raped. i've been to many a drunken party where there has been one girl amongst a group of wasted guys. do you know how many of those parties ended in the girl getting raped? ZERO sure, maybe there is a heightened risk of this criminal activity occuring. and next time she'll scruitinize who she hangs out with a little bit more. but to say that she should have seen it coming or that somehow she could have prevented it only continues to make a victim out of the innocent and validate the attacker(s). am i wrong or do i see you as one of those guys who would have been there justifying his actions by saying, "she was asking for it"?

But having re-read your post whilst covering up your sig, yeah you've got a point. But this is the type of thing that raises strong emotions in people. I stand by my opinion on it, and you guys seem to disagree, but that what's a forum is all about.
