My box fan was acting up the other day and I decided not to take any chances, I took the whole thing apart. Trying to keep my other one in line I made it watch the whole time. It was also good practice for HUAR Phase 2.

it's a fan so it really isn't all that smart. I'm going with the strategy similar to the kill the spider and leave it splattered on the wall so the other spiders know whats coming to them.
