Visiting NYC May 7-10. Suggestions/meetups?
I'll be visiting next week, so if any KaTG-ers are planning to go to something that week, I'd be interested. Creek and the Cave maybe? Or something in The City?

I HIGHLY reccommend checking out Chris Laker's show at the Creek on May 8th. Always a great show and I'll probably be there too!

I'm staying out on Long Island, in Melville, but plan to hit the city one or two nights. I am arriving Monday evening, and need to leave Friday mid-day.
The Creek on the 8th sounds good to me. Seconded? |

My problem with your request is that I work in NYC, but I live in New Jersey. It's easy for me to meet sometime between 5 and 6 and then get home at a reasonable hour so I can go to sleep and do it all over again. There is a Creek show at 6, but it's an open mic. I suspect you'd want to go to the 8 PM and/or the 10 PM show(s) and that doesn't work for me.
That's why I suggested meeting for a beer. |

The Creek's is better than some places, but it's still an audience of comedians working out material in front of each other. You might as well just talk to comedians one on one since some of them have a tendency to also use that time to work out their jokes ![]()
