You guys! Wow! What a show this is! One of my favorite authors, Lev Grossman, was kind enough to drop by the show to talk about his New York Times bestselling novel The Magician’s Land. But before that, there’s my horrible swamp of awkwardness that is the rest of my show and Lev plays along like a champ! Really, this guy is absolutely someone who has inspired me a lot and it was an honor to stammer questions at him. It was electric and easily the most literary episode of the show yet! I’m STILL excited, even as I write this description after the fact.

I started reading The Magicians based on Danny's recommendation and I am now 80% through The Magician King and looking forward to The Magician's Land.

Thanks for turning me on to some great books and thanks for having Lev on the show. He was a great guest and really fit in with everybody.

Have him on again or see if he would do KATG, I think he's got more interesting personal stories in him!

This was such a fun episode. I kept thinking how much more pro you're becoming, not that it didn't have it's awesome awkward Danny moments.
