Angie The Strange is strange, - and by far the best I've heard this year.

I don't know about that Junk, but I do know I'm done hearing people say, "OMG people saw me laughing in public - they must've thought I was a shortbus case." Why, are your earbuds invisible or something? Do you live somewhere that the public has never heard of or encountered mp3 players or even walkmans? Are you Amish?!?

If I see someone laughing in public and they have headphones or earbuds on why in Hades would I assume they're window-lickers? Unless they also have a Carrot Top t-shirt on obviously.
Maybe the "OMG laughing in public" thing is overdone but I had weird experiences with it as well, especially as I use in-ear headphones and have long hair so its not really obvious that I listen to something.
Once for example I was standing on a subway platform and just happened to have to chuckle/grin (I don't really break out in loud laughter) at the exact moment that an older woman in front of me stumbled and almost fell and I got quite the nasty look for that.
And I don't know how much public transport you use but I do daily and if you are the one person with a wide grin that is quietly chuckling away while everybody else stares ahead expressionlessly people look at you like you are a bit strange.

Which joke did you like best? Everyone tells me a different one....which I guess is a good thing.

Perfect description. When i used the bus or train or subway to go at work in the very early morning, a chuckle would've been a sour note in the mood of empty despair, bleary eyes and crushed souls that was in the air.

On the other hand, that's the exact moment when i need KATG the most. So i let go the squeaky giggles of the over-silly 14 year olds that are already hyper in the early morning, and eventually have a few psychotic laughs of my own

Wow, not only was that not funny, but I'm fairly sure I've heard that Dean of DeVry and the clown college joke before. Seriously, that was cringeful.

I am glad the time for listening to stand-up submissions on the show has drawn to a close. Next year, I hope Keith will play only his favorites on the show, and put the rest online. Most of the submissions have been painfully unfunny. Many are hard to hear- I listen on public transit, there's already a good deal of noise competition, so the differing file volumes does not help.
