KEITH: "I don't owe you anything."

Boom. There it is. That's a huge part of what so many of the people who took this negatively (and as if it was all about them) are missing. KATG don't owe you anything except entertainment. They're not the president. They're not your teachers. They're not your doctor. They're not your pilot. They're not your Mom and Dad. Their only job is to entertain and KATG don't pretend to be anything other than entertainers.

So many people need to get their heads out of their asses and get some perspective on what KATG really is. It's hilarious and fascinating entertainment. To me that's awesome. To me that's more than plenty. Why the fuck is that not enough for others?

The new show slogan should be: "Keith and The Girl talk shit. THEY ARE NOT YOUR PARENTS."

(You get a pass if you're under 20. When you're under 20 you're supposed to invest emotionally in entertainers because you don't have a real brain yet and you need something to fill the void. Your head is supposed to be up your ass. Just remember to include your age when you write in.)

In other feedback, Keith reading Oie's letter as if he was taking the gobbledegook seriously was so hilarious I really did almost piss myself.

First poll I've ever voted in, I think. After a very fun weekend of forums nonsense, let me state my complaints. There are footnotes.

1) Keith and Chemda should break up more often *

* I got nothing.

Perfect. Cathartic in the extreme.

If you hear this show and you don't think KATG is going to continue being stellar than there's no helping you.

This show has had ups, downs, laughter, and now I've cried. Keith and Chemda are two of the most honost and funny people today. I know the show will continue to be fantastic and my finger will NEVER hover over the unsubscribe button. Keith and The Girl has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and will continue to in the future. I love you Keith and Chemda and appreciate you and your honosty.

Thank you, David.

The stuff podcasts are made of.

Nevermind the fact that you guys can work together to produce 18 months of excellence after a breakup,

The fact that you guys can come back with an episode like this straight after announcing your breakup, an episode which is not just on form but balls out, straight from the heart honest and hi-larious and the fact that you guys seemed genuinely overwhelmed by the reaction you were getting shows just how steady KATG is as a show. If there are any wobbles for the conspiracy theorists to pick up on, I'm not seeing them.

The only thing these last two episodes have brought out which concerns me is how many of us internet people are fucking scary wierdos determined to find alterior motives in everything. But hopefully we can put that behind us now..... hmm. <doubtful face>

Everything you share with us is a pleasure to listen to and your absolute and (at times less than diplomatic) honesty is one of the things I love most about this show.

You guys work on staying just as awesome as you are and I'll work on keeping my fandom below the "creepily overinvested" level.

P.S. Thats emotionally overinvested... as far as cash goes, lets all "invest" a little more.

Does anyone else think that part of the reason why people are so distraught over Keith and Chemda's breakup is because it causes him or her to have anxiety over their own relationship's future?

Even if someone isn't currently in a relationship, I think that Keith and Chemda's partnership was held up as an ideal and everyone can't help but think that if they can separate then there is little hope of a "happily ever after" for anyone.

Then again, maybe that's just me

I know no one gives a shit but me, but i want to defend myself from the comments in the show regarding the perfect relationship. I was being a little facetious in saying that, as well as my comment about Michael seeing the holes. Again, I know this affects nothing and no one even knows what i'm talking about, but I needed to get it in the open.

This show was about as exactly what I wanted from the day after show. No stone was left unturned, hell, they even read my comment. I was never really worried about it, but i'm more confident then ever that the show will continue to be amazing.

Doing okay

Im doing okay. I'd just like to say that Im only okay because of how great Keith and Chemda told us how they have handled things. At first I was beside myself, it was like my parents were splitting up. But as the show went on and as they showed me how well they are doing I felt so much better. Thanks for asking.
