Seriously though, genocide and slavery aside, did anybody else notice Quinton Jackson in the pictures for The A-Team? B.A. Baracus does NOT wear designer jeans. I'm gonna rebel against the raping of my childhood. Not cool Hollywood, not cool... |

I'll keep in mind for the future that you don't like pirates, the new A Team and Harry Potter. |

I followed the reccomendation Lanfy gave and watched the movie "The Wave", about a teacher using a social experiment by creating a small version of nazism in his classroom, to demonstrate how even the most perfectly normal person could cave in under the mindfuck of a dictatorship.
Based on areal experiment, btw. The preachy ending was meh. But the psycholigcal twisting was great. Every point he used to push the students into forming a modern fascist-like clique were perfectly logical: -the charm that a "community" has, especially on the lonely, weak or depressed -the way anyone who dissents can be turned into an outcasts and an enemy -how similar clothing and slogans can give a feeling of reassuranbce and unity. And how all those things turn even simple kids who wopuldnt hurt a fly into a cold intolerant mob who acts like a pack of angry animals who want to crush anyone who's different. The scary thing is that i found easier to side with the elite than the outsiders. the "rebels" who whined "this is wrong" dressing alike is fasict! we must RBEL!" sounded like douches. enlightening, really. |
