Yup, Jim got hit by a taxi. Waited almost half an hour after he called the cops.

Missed the party but happy everyone had a great time.

In response to the Keith/Victor cake incident

I think it's pretty clear that Chemda is the most in the right here, Keith and Victor were both being children, even they admitted that. However, once we accept that they were being children, we must also accept that there are certain rules and expectations in this incident that even a child would understand. When Keith put the cake on Victor's hand, he did so knowing there was a good chance that cake would end up back on him. Victor had to have wiped the cake on Keith's jeans with the same expectation in mind. He also would have had to know that Keith's options were limited in tagging him back. Where was he going to go? The other hand? Of course not. Pants were out of the same reason. Keith had no choice but to go for the jacket. It was either that, or grow up and stop the cake fight, but it was pretty clear from the onset that that was not going to happen.

On the subject of Victor's call in: He said in the podcast that some past KATG events were badly produced (with the implication that he assumed this one would be too)... How are KATG not supposed to be offended by that statement? Which events was he talking about? I've been to more than a few events and they've always been high quality, especially the ones connected to April 15th. Also, he's too busy to read an email? Bullshit. He went on an ego trip, pure and simple.

On the subject of Victor and the Roast: He was easily the least funny professional comedian on the stage. It was obvious he had not prepared and I remember saying so at the time. I would have traded his set for 10 more minutes of Lauren's motorboat. In my opinion, he added very little to the show.

All that being said, we had a great time. Thanks for an awesome week, KATG and clan.

to me it sounded like one of those comedian answers, like when Jesses drops that keith isnt a real comedian, or that KATG is "just a podcast". Seems like comics have a verbal self control issue and tend to say rude stuff without really meaning it.

he wanted to answer with a barbed comeback and said that. not a big deal, i think.

I agree these are basic tag rules of which both Victor and Keith and anybody else growing up in America is well informed. Tag me and I tag you back.

I voted Victor was correct only because a jacket would have to be dry cleaned. I consider the inconvenience factor. Not that Keith is responsible for the dry cleaning. But I'm sure Keith knew and pulled a "1-up" and went for the jacket.

I don't think it's a great game either, but I can't stop playing it. It's not an original idea, shooting stuff at tings has been done over and over... but the execution was done well, and it's difficulty is set to be challenging enough to be satisfying but still easy enough that you want to keep going.

It's true. Guys don't think about a lot of the small shit, and more often times than not what we consider small shit does matter to the girl. I like to believe that no one's right or wrong, it's just differences. It's about whether or not you care enough to acknowledge you did something that bothered her.
It could easily be an endless debate.

-What does it matter? It was just a fucking cake. People were probably too hammered to notice what it looked like anyway.
-Let's say it doesn't matter. Someone put thought and work into getting that cake ready, and if it's someone you care about, it should then automatically matter.
-Well, maybe that someone is too sensitive and/or a bitch.
-Well, maybe you're an asshole for not understanding that not all people give fucks about the same shit.

In any case, most people would keep a cake upright if they knew it was a cake. Keith being the way he is, I'd look the other way because he doesn't mean anything by it. He just didn't think about it, and didn't think of thinking about it either. If he did think about it, and did it anyway, he's a fucking prick. Why would he be a fucking prick towards Chemda though? Exactly. So I believe him when he says he wasn't thinking.
Anybody I know would know to keep a cake upright. You could chalk it up to Keith being focused on his act, or just coming off being focused on the day/act.

There's studies and stuff on how women are better able to multi-task, while men are better at focusing on one thing. We get paid more though, and don't take it personally if someone forgets to turn off the lights, so I'm fine with that.

I was undecided on the poll, but I voted for Victor because he was losing.

And i think it would be funny if the poll ended up being 50-50
