Damn right I feel that way. Why would it be a pissing contest between which minority had it worse? What does that have to do with right and wrong? So where am I supposed to stand seeing that I am from Africa and my great great great grandfather actually owned slaves (thanks to inter-tribal wars). I do find it awkward that african americans are big into hating on gays and I do think its kinda retarded that they are so against gay rights. Though I do think that it stems from the culture of having to appear "hard" all the time. Looking at it each way, everyone has a reason for what they believe things should be.

Just about every person has a reason that they've been left out or discriminated against. But they're so caught up in their own petty shit, they can't see how simple respect and dignity could make the world a better place. This is one of the reasons that most people are stupid.

That, and everybody has bad days. The 'dyke' yeller might be an otherwise good kid, but thought he would feel better about his lot in life if he took it out on Lauren and Chemda. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well.
