On the opposite, if you are put in front of food derived from an animal that you have no personal attachment too, i see no reason why not to eat it. if you do not like the idea of eating something alive and with brains and all that goes with it, become a vegetarian. i wouldnt eat my own dog or cat. but, after a moment of pondering, i might eat dog if it was ouyt in front of me. As an experience. |

The only thing about 'eating horse that bothers me is that: the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is rounding up all the last wild, un-broken horses in the western states of America. They round em up and killl em...now serve em w/ fries as well??

Chappy Birthday Chemda
Dear Chemda,
Hope you and Lauren had a very special day together for your birthday. You are a very special girl, very kind and very funny. And that's just what we LOVE here in Australia. Thanks for the laughs and for just being you! Love , Love, Love Peter, PS: I'm sorry I didn't get you anything, but Keith said it would be fine. |

I didn't tell you you couldn't eat horse. But it would be too difficult for me to. And I do think horses are smarter than cows. |

oh, that is so sad...I had no idea they were doing that. I'm still up in arms that they are taking wolves out of their natural habitats in the northern states and shipping them to Canada. And apparently there is now a bounty out for coyote as well. I hate urban sprall and the death of native animals simply because they're "in our way"

That is necessary because you talk about intelligence potentially being a factor, but it is a very small difference between the intelligence of a cow and a horse. If you would say that you would not eat a horse or a dog or a cat because of their intelligence, but would still be willing to eat a pig or a cow, I would say you must be either a hypocrite or incredibly ignorant. |
