If anyone ever needs a lesson on whether or not the average person is retarded and will believe anything they are told, listen to the average person talk about soda. The argument behind soda causing dehydration is that it is usually high is caffeine which is a diuretic and a large concentration of salts which draw water out of the cells, thus dehydrating you.

Look up the word "dehydration", you fucking moron. I really hope you're trying to troll me by looking like an idiot. Dehydration is a deficiency of fluid. Something consumed can only hydrate or dehydrate as a net effect. It is possible to have dehydrating elements, but water suddenly doesn't become dehydrating if you put some salt in it. The amount of liquid consumed heightens the overall affect of hydration or dehydration. If one can of soda is dehydrating, drinking another 20 will leave you even more dehydrated than when you finished the first one.

Saying that soda is dehydrating is synonymous with saying that if you drink nothing but soda and ate nothing but meat for two days, you will definitely die. You are also saying that if someone drank enough cans of soda continuously, they could kill themselves by dehydration.

I really have no words for how stupid you have to be to think that someone can die from dehydration by downing can after can after can of what is 99% water.

This is the greatest argument against democracy I've ever seen. Despite every effort, people refuse to be anything but incredibly anti-intelligent.
