Rucka, the writer of the current WW run and the one who wrote some of her most iconic stories in the 90s, said she was queer, not gay. In this generations lingo that would be like saying "heteroflexible" or "I'm not gay but I like to suck dick sometimes."
In fact, unless I missed something, she's still dating superman in this comic universe.

Keith did you watch the WW trailer? Plz tell me you were also bothered by the size of her shield. If her bullet-blocking-bangles bothered you, her fucking tiny shield being used to deflect a waterfall of gunfire from a giant assault rifle and the person shooting her never aiming somewhere other than her head really bothered me
