Keith's ancestors in 1400 AD:
"OOOOooooo! What a fascinating book about navigating the oceans with stars! I heard about them boats that crash and people die on. Oceans are dumb. Stars... please. Get the fuck out." Stupidly funny show, gang. |

I think I just stared at that picture for 5 minutes, jaw dropped, saying "Umm" very quietly.

I fell asleep listening to Podcasts and this one came on. I had a dream that Danny did something bad and became an enemy of katg, I am not sure what, I think he made up his entire family and life and lied about the whole thing. Anyway, turns out the fans didn't gaf and rallied for KATG to forgive Danny.
When I woke up the Jarrod recordings were playing and I got really creeped out. I went back and listened to the whole show. I'm glad Danny didn't have a fight with KATG. The end. |

I get those notifications from twitter on my phone all the time. It lists two people that Favorited a post. It also happens when people follow someone. Often after KATG has a new guest I'll get so and so and so and so just started following ...

Facebook: I think the "maybes" or "interested" for events are so that they show up in various notifications and calendars/apps in phones but the person doesn't have to make a commitment. Yes, it's annoying for the organizers. IF the event requires the organizer to buy tickets or make food for the guests, I will answer with a "going" or "not going" to help them figure out the logistics of their event.
I never accept long-term invites (like the KATG marathons) because I don't want them to show up in my synced calendars every single day (in this case from 3pm to 10pm). As of now, it blocks many hours of each day. There are ways to get around this manually but I don't want to have to do it for every event. I "favourite" tweets without re-tweeting because constantly re-tweeting = clutter. I want to be able to streamline my posts and not overwhelm followers or even myself when I look back at my posts and analyze the data, especially when I am posting as a business entity, a public servant, etc. For example, I will "favourite" my client's post with a photo of his kids hiking with him because it's a cute or very artistic photograph, but I wouldn't re-tweet it because no one else cares. And it would be a little weird. |
