I think Chemda said flat earthers don't want to be right. They want to be right as much as anyone can want to be. Every logical arguement they are presented with they come up with bullshit reasons why its wrong. The podcast Oh No Ross and Carrie has done alot about this including being part of experiments and having flat earth leaders on. They are not logical and very arrogant about their ideas.

Does anyone else ever feel like society is somehow de-evolving mentally? I don’t remember people always being this stupid. It’s becoming mainstream to believe the earth is flat and vaccinations are a conspiracy. Speaking of stupid, I thought I hit no and hit yes on accident on the poll. . Am I stupid?

My fave part of the flat earth documentary was an exchange that went somewhat like this:
Interviewer to MAIN FLAT EARTH GUY: "So what do you think about the solar eclipse..it could prove or disprove your whole theory.." MAIN FLAT EARTH GUY: "Yea, I would go watch it but it's like 3 hours away and the TRAFFIC..." I know he did go see it eventually and somehow explained it away but I thought the idea of traffic being too much of a nuisance to prove or disprove your life's work was HIGH-larious. |
