For real congrats on the article. It's well deserved, I've been listening to you guys since about show #1000. I want to say my first show was the one with Brolo talking about him being at a show with his band at the time and getting into a fight backstage with another band... anyway. I've been around, and I've always thought KatG needed to be bigger than it is. Maron and Joe Rogan get talked about as if they're the ones who started this shit. Katg needs to get recognized! I say this as a fan who wishes you guys everything good in life, I hope you guys capitalize on this buzz and dont fumble the bag.
That being said, I enjoyed the episode as always. And Keith, both loki and the suicide squad are both better than you think. Fight me. 👊🏼👊🏼 |

Drugs and dietary supplements have completely other regulations.
https://www.fda.gov/food/information...ry-supplements In short: Drugs have very hard regulations, can claim that they do something against a disease. Food supplements are seen as food more or less. If they claim too much that they improve health, they are in danger of being seen as drugs. Meaning: they would require expensive double blind studies for market entry. |

I wrote this text and ckecked the link after.
Good to see that the FDA writes the same. #Bigpharmalife I have to pass many, many curses on on drug safety every year to stay employed. ( at least they are online and multi choice) Is it legal to market a dietary supplement product as a treatment or cure for a specific disease or condition? No, a product sold as a dietary supplement and promoted on its label or in labeling* as a treatment, prevention or cure for a specific disease or condition would be considered an unapproved--and thus illegal--drug. To maintain the product's status as a dietary supplement, the label and labeling must be consistent with the provisions in the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994.*Labeling refers to the label as well as accompanying material that is used by a manufacturer to promote and market a specific product. |
