Sounds like you made a pretty hasty judgment about New York. I mean it's really easy to judge something from a distance when you're not immersed and a part of something, like it sounds like you were in New York. New York can be a really amazing place if you seek it out.

I was in Rome Italy when my grandmother suddenly died. For that reason, I will never go back there. PS: Where in Canada are you going back too? |

Dude you need to let that shit go, how else you can expect to experience anything new when you're holding on to so much baggage?

The east coast for starters, and from there I don't know yet. A guy I know in Van is looking for a roommate in september and gave me first dibs, but I don't know if I'm ready to head back out west yet. It's a little too far from the family.

In fact, here's a little piece I've been working on. I call it, "Ode To New York":
Dear New York, I will always remember you. I'll always remember your piss smell shit smell garbage everywhere rats everywhere cloudy water constant low flying airplanes faggy hipsters with tiny pants shitty run down movie theatres filthy, loud, god awful subways from a fucking century ago low quality everything ridiculous art studios constant, CONSTANT honking incredibly rude people unsustainable, boring museums block after block after block of laundromats, dunkin donuts and fried chicken exorbitant rent no bathrooms anywhere tags on everything pathetic "green spaces" And did I mention rude assholes all over the place? New York, go fuck yourself. Sincerely, Canada Last edited by McNally; 02-21-2009 at 09:17 PM. |

A little money spent on someone to screen for this stuff could save a few jobs and lots of advertising dollars. |

The real issue at hand is this... I don't believe that Nazis didn't destroy those priceless art works because of some sort of appreciation for french culture. I think that's as silly as believing in the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus. |
