I totally agree. I went to two herapists, back in the days of my heavy breakdown, and they charged me to ridiculous levels, basically to tell me that "i had to cope with my issues" and heavily sedate me. Fuck them, i'll take a psychic any day...

Of course but back then i wasn't exactly a reasonable person. If i could go back in time i would slap myself mrepeatedly and spend the money on something else (weed? porn? lapdances?). And at the time many people i knew were into therapy...

First off, let me say that I am a huge skeptic, and don't really believe in any of this stuff, but...

I was listening to this show yesterday while doing some work in my backyard. Someone (I think JenV?) called in and mentioned that they had been trying to have a baby. This caught my ear, because my wife and I have been trying to have a baby for over two years. We've lost two pregnancies so far.

Robert asked who she needed to forgive. I immediately thought of my father, who died of alcoholism after I hadn't spoken to him for a year or two. Tears came out of nowhere, and I was standing there trying to run a weed-eater with tears streaming down my face. ( I know, what a pussy)

So, while I still don't believe in this kind of thing, before we try our next fertilization treatment I will make a point to take a moment to forgive my dad. I figure it can't hurt.

There are "psychics" who take advantage of people who believe in them. I don't think Robert is one of those people.
