Unfortunately because I also thought being a lawyer was like stand up, I went to law school.
And it was like this:

Here, sit down in the library and study laws for 4,5 years. Read thousands sides of very boring stuff and always feel you should learn more.

I passed but it wasn’t at all fun. Did you know I had to learn construction law? And police law?
I didn’t until I had to.

4, 5 years? They say being a stand-up takes at least 10!

I finished too fast for the fun to start I guess.

Being a farm-wife sounds fun in theory. I think I just wanna cosplay or take a vacation as role playing on a farmstead.

Get the eggs from the chicken coop... throw down some feed.... pet a goat... make some bread... put stuff in jars... I've seen Pioneer Woman on the cooking channel, how hard can it be? Yeehaw mothafuckas!

The reality though? Not as cute. I just see little snippets of the reality I'd want, and not the actuality of that life. That farmers don't make money, animal shit stinks, and this is a full time LIFE and not just a fun little whim.
