the recipe is…interesting. i like how Rotel is a SPECIAL INGREDIENT, but not the jarred pasta sauce. so nice he included manufacturer’s phone numbers of most of the ingredients. very helpful.

I really love this recipe. I think Randi was stoned when he discovered this masterpiece. He started out wanting some spaghetti. After he had the sauce mostly made he realized he didn’t have any pasta, and decided to throw in some beans- because it would be weird to eat spaghetti sauce with no spaghetti.

I was talking to a friend about this and she said the kids should comment back to the Dad "God has put us in your life to stop you from making stupid decisions."

Also, how annoying that he trashed so much of his children's and wife's things because he doesn't care about the emotional value of anything for anyone else, but he kept this piece of art because he made up that it might be worth something. He has to have his kids do the legwork because he's all ideas and no effort.

Glad you guys got a tiny bit of your mom's stuff.

How is 1/2tsp of chili powder enough for all those ingredients?!? I'm intrigued. Probably not intrigued enough to make it, though, because there's no way my kids will eat it.
