Forum Reading Technique

Having a baby doesn't come with instructions. I managed to figure it out.

These forums don't come with instructions. I get very confused.

I've tried hybrid mode, latest first and all sorts of crazy user CP combinations, yet I still find myself reading the last page of each thread, either missing 30 posts of goodness or reading the same guff over and over.

Any decent tips on forum reading?

Can you place bookmarks?

How do you normally read them?

Speaking of the forum's greatest postwhore (sorry MCG, you're mantle has been taken) 24hrs without a post? He's already dropped to a measly 39 posts per day.

I like to think of this as a marathon, not a sprint. I'm listening to KATG for the long run (well, until they sign to XM of course)

well, since you asked:

i open firefox, type "katg.com/forums" into the address bar, and press enter.
after that i usually select "talk shite", as it seems to be home to the most activity
i do my best to trade of between mouse clicks with my right hand and vodka sips from my left. that is until i end up in the porn thread, then my hand duties get all confused...

seriously, though. i read most recent posts first, 40 to a page. no big secret, just a whole lot of wasted time.
