I was never a hardcore Gilmore Girls fan so this was pleasant enough for me. (Except the musical I fast forwarded through that what did I miss?)
Rory has always been a little shit and now we know she is a little shit too dumb to use condoms, must run in the family. On the plus side I just binged The Good Wife recently so Logan makes me hardcore squee right now. |

i think what killed it for me was her getting pissed she had to have her affair in a hotel in London. no, special snowflake, you can't play house /in/ his house when his wife is home. it was the same as the last time; her not really able to do "no strings." i've been staunchly Team Jess throughout, but at this point in the game, maybe Jess could do better. she's a mediocre person too many people told she was special. *cue my own relatable sobbing*

i also came into this thinking this season was a one off love letter to the fans; a well-told compete story. the cliff hanger at the end felt like a cheap way into a second season. really? drop a bomb and then let the credits roll? fuck off.

I've watched Winter, Spring, and half of Summer so far and never watched more than 3 episodes of the show when it was on. I kept up with the relationships on the show because friends were into it.
Most of the characters are insufferable. But I keep watching for some reason. |

Longish read but I agree with pretty much everything in it. I didn't know about the 4 word thing but now that I do: pregnant at 23 would have been such a bullshit ending. It still is at 32 but it slightly makes more sense and I can totally see a boring 'run the town newspaper, help with the new hotel, eventually get with Jess, live near my best friend and her babies, omg I'm so happy' life work out for her All hail Paris and her stiletto door kicking skills |
