I'm getting a camera from the missus and a suit from my folks.

Probably best of all though - i just found out that i'm getting an Xbox360 and a copy of Gears as a bonus from work! WOOOOO

I recommend:
Software: Nuendo and Reason
Soundcard: M-audio Delta 10/10, or if you can afford it, a MOTU.
Desk - avoid behringer and peavey
Mic: - Audio Technica 4033

You get better, you get worse, but that stuff will give you decent results

My setup aint great, but it does ok for home.

The studio at work is beasting though so i can use that for my personal stuff as well as work
