TV THREAD! - What are you watching?
My connection isn't being used, point me at a tv show to try out (then buy obviously, piracy funds drug-commu-terrorism).
Recently, I've watched all of Heroes, all of Dexter, I'm starting The Wire and trying out Battlestar Galactica with the mini series because people won't shut up about it no matter how many times I set them on fire and I'm burning 55 gigs of Tom Baker's whole Doctor Who run to dvds (backups, of course because I bought them all and piracy gives Satan kitten-killing erections in hell). Doesn't have to be brand new, just something good. Recommendations! Suggestions! Propositions! Fire them at me like I'm the polite but ultimately doomed Japanese girl at a bukkake party. EDITED TITLE TO MAKE IT A GENERAL TV THREAD, SINCE THERE'S A BUNCH OF GOOD STUFF IN HERE. EDIT - well shit, you can't change the name of threads.

i suggest, if you havent seen it already, The Shield. BBC had a series on for a while called Jekyll. an old Nickelodeon show called Pete & Pete... i highly recommend it, if you can find it.

Funny you should recommend The Colbert Report, I only just started watching it because I like The Daily Show but Colbert isn't on tv here. |

LOVED Jekyll and not just because it had the lovely Michelle Ryan in it, excellent how it kept you guessing. It's written by Steven Moffet of the best of the new Doctor Who, so that's no suprise. Pete & Pete? Colour me intrigued. |

Weeds isn't as good as Dexter, but it's worth a watch. I'll third The Shield. The first two seasons are awesome.
I was kinda bored with Entourage. I like Curb your enthusiasm. If you like the early seinfelds, you'll dig it. Six feet under is my favorite tv show of all time. I actually bought the entire colllection on dvd. West Wing is brilliant in seasons 1-4 It's a lot easier to get a cheap Netflix sub. There is so much streaming shit on there I don't really understand why people deal with the shady illegal sites. It's half the price of cable and you watch what you want when you want. My TV has a VGA port on the back so everything on my PC displays on my TV screen. I'm pretty sure most LCD tvs have a vga port. Get a gyration-mouse remote control for the ultimate netflix setup |
