Great Movie. Here's a review.

Like Spooky already posted, its not a re-make, just another story in the Superman franchise.

SPOILER AHEAD!! Superman wins this one, too.

Lex Luthor gets out of jail, inherits a boatload of cash, finds Superman's Fortress of Solitude, then . . .
Superman has been off-planet for several years, comes back to his old job at the daily planet, Jimmy Olsen is still a dork & Lois has a kid & a not-so-silly-as-every-non-wanted-movie husband. He can fly, too (yes, really).

Okay real SPOILER.
The kid is superman's son & yes, he has powers.

This is an wholely inadequate explanation of why Superman's super load didn't blast a hole through Lois Lane's mere mortal uterus.

Horrible, stupid movie. This wasn't even Superman. They took away the "American Way" out of "Truth, Justice, and The American Way" to please the international markey which is utter bullshit (also, there are NO American flags in the film). Besides that, filmmakers have taken liberties with the Superman character and he's nothing like DC comics version. Fuck Bryan Singer, this movie was shit.
