any suggestions?? any language is fine so long as there's subtitles

most other newer films have been remade.

drunken master 2 is one of my all time faves (chinese version)
for anime theres stuff like akira, spirited away, howls moving castle, etc.

Loved Oldboy, Run Lola Run, and Pan's Labyrinth. Another of my favorites is Jeux d'enfants. Oh another great thriller is a german film called Tattoo about people who collect pieces of tattooed skin as art.

If you like Oldboy, check out the rest of his series (not related) sympathy for mr vengeance and sympathy for mrs vengeance. Also save the green planet, all very twisted movies.
