So what the fuck is up with that guy? He needs to shut the fuck up and know better than having a go at Ricky Gervais, with Apatow's less than mediocre movies. He clearly was just sucking up to the producers.

Anyways, i've wrote to Marc Maron to hear his opinion on Judd's speech, because Mark interviewed Judd not too long ago, and here's what i've got in response:

Judd had some great jokes. He wins. Ricky Gervais sucked at the Golden Globes.

My opinion.

What the fuck is up with Marc Maron? Does he think that Judd will put him in one of his stupid stoner movies or something? Judd didn't have jokes, he just sucked and was sucking up to.

Judd has a point. Ricky was unusually cruel and crossed a lot of lines. It's not a roast, it's an awards show. Also, Judd Apatow has been around a lot longer than five years or so of funny movies. He's the guy behind "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared," two shows I thought were great and are widely considered shows cancelled way too soon.

And Marc Maron is also an asshole because he didn't agree with you?

No, but no person in his right mind, especially a comedian, could say that Apatow had "some great jokes", when in fact he didn't. He was trying ti make the same jokes he was dissing Ricky for.
