Uh, dude. Toque, that speviric spelling, is for a ton of things. It's primary Canadian usage, however, is what SnD said. no one here, of the people I've ever ever ever talked to use tuque. It's toque, simple as that. We, in Canada are badass like that.

Snd,you were 12004676.8% right. Unless all normal Canadians are wrong!

Whew! And here I was convinced that my four years of undergrad in English Lit went down the drain.

I'm originally from Ukraine. Moved to Canada in my preteens. Despite my 10+ years of living in an English speaking country, my accent is still around. It shows itself whenever I'm drunk or angry.

I'll send you my address and I'll have a few bottles of tequila and jäger around, this is a theory that needs some serious scientific experimentation.

I'll have paper and a pencil, too. All requirements for sciences.

I wonder if Mer and La also have accents when drunk. We should have them in attendance as well, if ONLY for the control group.

Anyone game?

I'm a whisky type of girl. But I will be in BC for my first time in August. Really looking forward to it.

I'm down for this! If SnD speaks any Russian I may never come home. That accent and that language makes me weak in the knees!

I'm a vodka guy. Sounds like we will have a full bar.

I know that many languages are spoken in Ukraine and that Ukrainian is the official language. I didn't want to assume and be an ass.

Josh Latta drew an 'Ushanka' with a Soviet Red Star on SnD, but most people assume it's the Canadian Maple Leaf. ::POOF:: I'm an SnD historian and such.

Ah geeze to both of you. No offence meant, only typed it so I could make the "your to hot for me to think clearly" joke. I had no idea what the word was myself when SnD wrote it so looked it up. Wiki said it was a chefs hat but it didn't look like what she was wearing and then I saw the link for the other spelling. Pardon my single language douchery.

from what I can remember, a lot of your witty references are either unnoticed, taken seriously, or your non-witty references are misconstrued as witty references.
