Starting this thread to put your own take on Keith's movie reviews, did you see a movie he liked and did your take on the movie align or differ from Keith's.

I just rented The Book of Henry, mainly because it's ratings on IMDB and rotten tomatoes weren't that great and Keith said it was one of his favourite movies.

I personally loved it, but I like movies like this. It was great performances all around.

Who was the woman who worked for Jared Leto and kept trying to kill everyone? I feel like anyone who didn't see the original (I didn't) had little chance of understanding this movie.

I thought for sure Ryan G was the kid with the horse and she was his twin sister BUT ALAS NO so who the fuck was she? I thought she was a new replicant but she kept crying when people died so wtf was that all about?

Screencrush says The Book Of Henry is one of the worst movies of the year.

So does The AV Club (#7).


I don't agree (although calling it "maybe the best movie of" anything is ridiculous) but that Screencrush review is great just as it's own piece of literature.

The Book Of Henry is being shown at the Muhlenberg New York Public Library in Chelsea on Thursday December 28th. 2pm. It's free! I'll see you all there so we can finally decide this thing for sure and for certain.
