Question Movies you've never seen (that you fucking need to)

I watch a lot of movies. Tons of them. I go to the theater just about every weekend and when I watch movies at home, a lot of the time they're newer flicks I never got around to seeing. For something a bit new this year, I've started compiling a list of older movies that, some-fucking-how, I've never seen. It's not that I thought I wouldn't like these movies... I just somehow never happened to see them at any point in my 28 years.

I started this a couple weeks ago by watching 'A Few Good Men,' followed shortly afterward by 'The Godfather' (yeah, yeah, I know, I KNOWW), and last night with 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles'. So far, so good. I thoroughly enjoyed them all and plan to continue my conquest of personally-forgotten classics with 'The Godfather Part II' & 'The Lost Boys' this week.

Is anyone else like me? Do you see a ton of movies and still get the "you've never seen <movie title> before?! What the fuck?!" exclamation from friends every so often?

I wasn't really a big fan of Blazing Saddles either.

Someone told me I should see the show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Also, I've had 8 1/2, Burnt by the Sun, and a bunch of Kurosawa movies on my list for almost 2 years now.

I need to see "The Godfather II" and "E.T.".

I also need to get caught up on some classics like "Sunset Boulevard" "Some like it Hot" & some of the Foreign classics like Burgman and Kurosawa.

I watch anywhere from 3-7 movies a week that are new to me (or new releases), I've never seen The Godfather, I don't intend to. It's just too long...

E.T. SUCKS. I "needed" to see it too because I was deprived and didn't get to when I was a child...what a disappointment.

i was about to say it was an awesome movie but then i remembered that i saw it at like 5 years old. things that were also "awesome" at 5: power rangers, super nintendo, mud, thinking about candy, trying to read (I might not be giving 5 year olds enough credit)

movies i have yet to see (or just saw this month) (even though every other week i watch 10+ movies for the past 5 years)
2001 a space odyssey
the godfathers
a few good men
usual suspects
also i've only seen 1 woody allen movie

i usually avoid the old sad movies and black and white (possibly because im 20 nd almost every movie since i was born has come out in color and i cant go back, for the same reason i refuse to watch a silent film). because of both of these i have never seen casablanca and never plan to

Sounds like when I tried to watch Blade Runner the other week. Sure, it's pretty impressive looking, especially for its time, but MAN, I just could not get into it.
