I thought this was going to be about an Avatar (Navi/Cameron) series to make up for the shitty movie.....but it's about the anime.

I agree. I like avatar a lot but when u get right down to it its just not on the same level as the titles you named. Avatar does try to tackle larger issues than Ang's quest to stop fire nation aggression but it lacks the weight that many popular anime series have.

You just made my goddamn day sir. The cartoon was easily the best of at least 15 years for kids and adults alike. The movie made me want to end lives. I didn't realize movies could get worse than Battlefield Earth. Now I can forget the movie and look forward to more badassery. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Oh also, I saw people recommending anime. I'm not huge into anime although I appreciate a good one. Samurai Champloo is indeed good so far.

I watched all 3 season's and i havent seen the movie yet (its no out where i live) i cant wait for the new show however i have a feeling it might be shit. i can see them trying to replicate the comedy elements of the original show and it might be a bit over the top childish. also there will never be a character as awesome as Toph!
