Is it just me or does it seem extremely old fashion. Its something also turns me away from most sites.

Curious what everyone else thinks?

Was that page real? I thought maybe i was being sent to an old page of someone was messing up the home page trying to make updates and uploaded a old copy.

I thought the same thing. Glad I wasn't the only one. I am all for them trying to get the word out and making it "simpler" for new people, but to me just seems very late 90's. No real site uses splash pages anymore (unless they are presite ad's.. which EVERYONE hates)

I think they'll figure it out eventually. I'm a little surprised they went live with those changes but every iteration of the site has ended up better than the last.

"Windows 98 Man" seems like it has superhero potential. Just throwing it out there for the hatch or someone else to run with it.
