Can't Watch Porn - Need Help ASAP!
I have an old macbook, like a 2005, but it has served me faithfully. I recently upgraded to OSX 10.6.8 to squeeze a few more years out of her. Well, things were going ok, until a couple days ago my macbook crashed while watching a vid on youtube. Next it crashed while watching hulu. Now it crashes about 10 seconds after I start any video. Yup, you guessed it, I can't even watch porn anymore! I had no idea what was up until someone suggested I open activity monitor while watching a video. Lo and behold, this is what happens:
WTF?? No wonder, the CPU is running at 150%! Is there anything I can do to fix this?? |

I have an iOS 5 question. If this isn't the place for my question, I promise I'll go fuck myself twice.
I have an iPhone 4, never jailbroken. I updated to iOS 5 on release day. Since then, the camera app doesn't work. I can take a picture in Instagram, in any text app, or any other photo-taking app. Also, my camera doesn't work in FaceTime. After several DFUs, hours on the phone with Apple tech support, AND taking my phone to an Apple store, nothing has changed. At the Apple store, another DFU was performed and the camera was replaced. Still, nothing. (On a side note: Am I mistaken or are the original Phillips head screws supposed to be replaced with specialty screws if Apple does any work on an original release iPhone 4? I'm asking because my phone still has the Phillips head screws which may suggest that the phone never had the camera replaced at the store.) Anyhow, can anyone help me with this? |

As far as the screws go, maybe the Apple Store was just being cool. I really doubt they would try to pull a fast one and not do any work. They've always done more than what I ask for, like sending my MacBook in for a worn out key and them replacing the case which had some dings, the trackpad, the graphics and airport because they weren't testing 100% on the diagnostics. |

This is an update to my iOS 5 native camera app and FaceTime app issues.
Initially, I took my phone to a very new Apple Store in Little Rock, AR in order to fix these issues that came about following the iOS update. I was told the reason for these native apps not working was due to a hardware failure. Yesterday, I went to another Apple Store, this time in Germantown, Tennessee. There, a Genius reset the phone's settings (not another DFU which had already been performed 3 times already). Suddenly, all of the camera functions were operating. Four minutes of talking and 30 seconds to reset the settings and for the phone reboot - that's all it took. I thought I'd share this just in case anyone else has this issue. |
