TORONTO: Tom Jones Steakhouse
http://www.dine.to/restaurants/tomjones/weblink.php
Once a year, at Christmas time, my wife and I go out with friends to Tom Jones Steakhouse in downtown Toronto. You can go dressed-up, or wearing jeans; it's fine dining at it's best. I recommend the filet mignon and ceasar salad (dressing and salad made fresh and assembled right in front of you). |

Cincinnati, OH: Skyline Chili. It's a chain, but it's pretty much a Cincinnati signature, something you've got to eat while you're there. If candy stores/sweet shops are being included, I'd tell people to go to Schneider's Sweet Shop (in Bellevue, KY, right across the Ohio River from Cincinnati) and get an iceball--it's shaved ice with a scoop of ice cream and the syrup flavor of your choice. Effin' great. Also, I'd say Pasquale's (also in Bellevue), a GREAT pizza joint.
Charlotte, NC: The Penguin has AMAZING and CHEAP burgers and a 50's greaser/rockabilly kind of theme. Also, for more down-homey kind of fare, try Dish. |

Like to eat piles of tapas at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba. Like to munch on cornbread while looking down on people on Michigan Avenue at Bandera. Like German food at Berghoff Restaurant. Like steak & eggs at Oak Tree Restaurant (decor bad, steak & eggs good). All in Chicago. Me no live Chicago. Me hungry like caveman.
