It’s my 10 year wedding anniversary

lol we hooked up a bunch before we went on an actual date. that date was being my plus one at my best friend’s wedding of which i was maid of honor. the man was and remains unafraid of the deep end.

For me it’s the day we met that is extra special.
But also, the wedding was fun, only us two in Colorado and because we planned the vacation and decided to get married there 4 weeks before it, there was only Friday the 13 free as the date.
It didn’t hurt us at all.

i’m a huge proponent of eloping and not just bc it funds my perfume addiction. weddings are a huge waste of money. in fact, i feel the necessity of a third party signature, and that there’s fees for it, to be absurdly superfluous. couples should be able to just file with the state: end of story.
