If anyone else who has been through abuse or can relate to Mike's story, or my own, and would like to talk about it, I figured it might be good to start a thread?

I consider myself pretty well-adjusted and healed from my past abuses, but hearing more and more people identify with this was triggering, upsetting, and it just made me sad that I am not alone... it made me sad that so many people as kids had to go through this.

So if you want to share, feel free, since you're not alone.
