If only we werent so lazy that we wait for others to get the info (constipated face).
The movie is "He loves me, He loves me not" (Translation in yankeeese from the french A la folie...pas dut tout) Dark movie. Tatou is amazing in it. I'm really having a hard time enbjoying movies. Besides when my girl makes me watch what she likes (but that's usually prettu tepid stuff. Like "Dont mess with the Zohan"), good series have spoiled. Especially Breaking Bad. One single episode of that is more powerful than most recent moviues i've watched. |

And Don't Mess With The Zohan might not be Seven Samurai, but I still laffed it up plenty while watching it. Are you saying you only enjoy movies that challenge you and you can't enjoy silliness for the sake of silliness? |

Tonight I will be watching Casablanca.
I been on a mission to try older films (speaking of, Butch Cassidy and the sundance kid is on Instant watch )Last week I watched Citizen Kane and loved it. The character reminded me of the internet in a weird symbolic way. |

The Good Heart
If you can find a showing of it, I recommend it. Our only old time 1 screen theater in my town was the only place showing it here. Really great characters, a kind of poetic storyline. Great imagery and dialogue, I liked this a lot. Is it predictable? Yes, you can guess the ending, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing like it is in a lot of movies. Paul Dano is in it, and from the few things I've seen him in that kid has a lot of talent. He is someone to keep an eye on. I'm greedy with my A+'s, so I will say this is a solid A.

Just watched Splice a couple hours ago.
I didn't really know anything about the film, other than like 3 seconds of a clip I had seen on TV and the poster for it...I thought it was going to be a thriller, but I was wrong....so that kinda killed it a tiny bit, seeing as I didn't get what I expected... Beside that the movie wasn't too bad. It wasn't anything great, but it was...interesting. Don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it. But I felt most of the plot was a bit predictable, it was still a decent sci-fi film. |
