The Best/Worst Gifts You've Ever Received

I ran across this interesting thread on Jezebel about the best and worst gifts anyone has received. They focused on Christmas, but any gift giving occasion seems appropriate.

The Best Gift I've Ever Received: Probably My Car

The Worst Gift: I'm sure there has been worse, but the one that sticks out the most in my mind was last year. My mother gave me 2 flower stuffed animals from the dollar bin at Target. I was 21. Update: Just remembered, my Uncle gave me a lunchbox (not a cool retro one, just a plastic one) for X-mas when I was 15.

What are your best and worst gifts?

Best: My grandma gave me a thousand bucks once.

Worst: A tape of a catholic show my aunt recorded off her TV.

worst....my brother got a trantula (sp) encased in glass, for him it was the best for me it was the WORST

My grandmother gave me a crappy blanket one July for my birthday. My birthday is in February.

This isn't so bad but it is a little funny that my boss gave me a Starbucks giftcard. We work in the same office for 4 years and she's never seen me drink coffee cos I don't. I've never even been in a Starbucks. Hehehe. Oh well, I'm sure one of my friends can use it.
