Answering a poll isnt mandatory. It's actually more polite not to answer if you're not sure, rhather than answering on a whim and screwing the results.

I think that saying "no" means that yoy're sure that god doesnt exist (i answered no). If you think that there's something even if you dont call it god, you should answer yes.

I mean i am sure god doesnt exist, i just have no way of proving it. i just have faith in my lack of faith. hence agnostic.

I have invented a new word for the whole theology thing.

Atheist- You do not believe under any circumstances

Agnostic- You do not believe that there can or can not be proof of any kind of a god.

My new word...Apatheist, a portmanteau of apathy and -Theist

Because on the whole faith thing, I have realized that I honestly don't care about the whole thing, maybe there is a god, maybe not, I know there are more important things going on down here. So why should I care?

If God/supreme being exists, it's pretty damn important to learn what it's like because...it's the fucking supreme being! Plus the whole stuff-happening-for-eternity thing.

If one doesn't exist, it's pretty important that we don't waste time and resources that could be better spent elsewhere.

You, in particular, don't seem like you have many more pressing issues to worry about.

I don't think one exists because: a.) there is no rational, empirical proof put forth for the existence of god that cannot be explained more elegantly by not assuming its existence. b.) if it expected us to go by blind faith, then why did it handicap us with rationality.

There's no way to be 100% certain about anything, so you must accept a less strict definition of certainty for the concept to have any use, and if your condition for certainty is so strict that you resort to agnosticism in such long absence of evidence, you must be agnostic about a lot of things (I suppose that would help being a criminal defense attorney).
