I have a 55" 3D TV.... HD porn sounds much better in theory than in real life. There is nothing sexy about zoomed in genitals in 1080p, let alone in 3D... Pimples, razor bumps, cock and balls... Blergh.

And new 3D isn't "jump out at you" like it used to be. Although can you imagine if it was, and they did POV cumshots for teh gays?

The first time I listened to Keith and the Girl I thought Keith was gay based solely on his voice. I really don't hear it now and I'm not sure why I got that impression in the first place.

The "soap opera effect" is caused by a higher frame rates on real life images. There isn't a catch all setting for sports, t.v. shows and video games. The names for the different settings is just unnecessarily convoluted. For Keith all he really needs is four settings Sports, Video Games, 3D and everything else. Its going to be a little more work but Keith just needs to find out which settings are best for which. The best way to do it is just post the different settings and I'm sure the forums will do the rest of the work.

It sucks what went down between Sue and the show. I guess she felt she had to be overly aggressive when asking you guys to change the show notes, because she left with the impression that you guys respond more to aggression. Its sort of like when Keith says that regular listeners of the show often approach him with, "hey, how you doing fuck-face." Because that is their impression of how Keith interacts with others so they feel they can open with that level of aggression as well. There is totally a "dick-y" nature to the show, sort of playful ball busting. Its one of the reasons I like the show so much. But for people who aren't use to it, it can be sort of unnerving, no matter how aggressive or ball-busting their own comedy might be.

Turn off "True Motion". You'll get a bit more "stuttering" in action scenes, but it won't look like shit.

This only happens on LCD/LED tvs, and does not exist on Plasma televisions due to how they each display images differently. There's no "refresh" rate needed on plasma TVs.

That said, you can't get "Passive" 3D on a Plasma, and they tend to be more expensive and use battery powered glasses where Keith's TV uses the inexpensive plastic glasses, the same ones you get in the movie theater.

Keith, I have probably the same tv as you, I can help you take the thing from meh to HOLY FUCKING DICK BALLS.

How can I do that? Because there are video retards that do it for us and I know how to walk people through it
