I didn't listen to the show yet... but fuck yes Dante Nero. I really enjoy his podcast and have been wondering when he would finally make an appearance on KATG.
Shit Chemda on the Beige Philip show? I thought I couldn't get any happier. Last edited by invader; 03-18-2014 at 07:28 PM. |

This was such a great episode!! At first when I saw a guest name I didn't recognize I was put off because first-timers are usually a hit or miss. Then I was hooked!
Dante was like a male version of sex and the city; shoes (gotta hook up your bitches) and relationship advice..I don't know what they could possibly cover if they had him over again since K&C went over everything but I'm sure he'd always be entertaining. A++ |

Btw I'm watching the Artie Lange show interview with Dante right now on YT and it's the exact same things he mentioned on KATG. But he sounded 1,000 times more comfortable with Keith and Chemda..haha using words like "escort service" instead of Pimping
Can't listen to interviews other than KATG now because everyone else sounds so superficial and PC |

I heard 90% of the episode, I'll finish the rest, asap! Hopefully the last 10% of the podcast isn't going to invalidate everything I'm about to say.
I respect Dante for being so honest about his past and how he feels about it. I have to admit, though, that I was getting more and more infuriated throughout the show due to... well... pimpin' and choking "bitches", etc. I understand this is a different world, with different rules, but I can't seem to get over the fact that no matter how those women who work as prostitutes 'want' to be treated (toxic, brackish, etc), it is still wrong. Remember they are acting this way due to most likely terrible abuses throughout their lives, this only makes it harder to get out. Making someone love you so you could sell them on the streets? No one is putting a gun to your head to work in that field (as the pimp), you know what's wrong and right. If only for your own sake, do what Keith said many times before, "Get out, leave". This is not a physical place to get out of, but the sentiment is the same. What's done is done, though, and I appreciate that Dante seems to not be proud of his past. He didn't seem very apologetic about it, however, and that's what's nagging at me. I know he doesn't owe us anything, but still... This is like my first real post (that I remember). Love the show, been a listener for many moons now!

It was honestly a little painful to listen to him talk about the way he treated women and I don't understand how chemda could just go along with it. Choking women to control them? Calling them bitches and hoes, treating them like property? Wtf. I know Chemda did call out a few times how it sounded wrong, I just feel like as much shit and she gives others like Pat Dixon for being misogynistic this guy deserved way more. He didn't sound at all sorry for the way he treated those women. It's one thing for women to sell their own bodies, it's a totally different thing to sell your body for someone else.

Really liked Dante for his honestly. Mixed feelings about his treatment of women (although I suppose it's in the past), and his classification of them (although he's been with many).
Chemda could have him on for the What's My Name show. |

I guess my problem is that he was a pimp to begin with. I find it disgusting to take ownership of a woman and her body. I understand the choking and name calling and all that goes along with it. I just don't think it's something to be proud of. Maybe he's not but he doesn't sound like he thinks it was necessarily a bad thing either.
