I enjoyed this episode so much I went back and listened to J.P. McDade's other guest appearance - the delightful episode 2544 from January of the year of our lord 2017, entitled 'Fearless'.

It's always good times with this guy. I'm pretty thirsty for him to become a regular.

Mass Effect 3/A multiplayer are the only online games I play. They're cooperative so you work with humans to take down computer enemies. There's not very often shit talking.

I was in one pug with 2 teenaged little shits who were shit players, both died midway through the match and sat there shittalking the rest of us, calling us lame for using consumable items to stay alive and being "tryhards." everyone else left the game before the end of the match. I flagged them on XBox live customer service. Never happened with anyone else. Everyone is either quiet or helpful

The glory days of shit talking on xbox live are long gone. It was more a thing in the 360 Halo days where most people used the game chat that everyone could hear. When the xbox one came out it let you jump between the game, apps and dash but that would mute game chat, so now everyone is in their own universal private chat with just their friends.

The 360 did not have a built in mic or speaker on it so if JP wasn't using a headset, the other person could not hear him. The other guy had a headset and talked shit to him knowing that when you don't have a headset plugged in, the audio defaults to coming out your speakers. Even better, the person can't respond.
Sure, no one cares about this but I explained it anyway, noobs.
