I relate to both.

I was like Chemda when it came to chips. I've been eating whole family sized bags of chips in one sitting since elementary school. Thank goodness for a fast metabolism.

I gave up chips as a new years resolution this year. Cold turkey. I didn't have a single chip until mid-june(when I realized my friend who was supposed to be doing it too never kept her resolution) . Now I can have a small bag and not crave more. Nor do I crave them every time I see them like I used to. They don't even taste as good as they used to in my mind.

Chips were my only binge food. So now my relationship to eating is more like Keith's.

But I did have to train myself to be that way cause I grew up in a culture where "you better clean that plate" or you can't leave the table.

i eat when i'm bored. if i'm busy, i will forget to eat at all, but give me some down time and i will eat through anything i don't have to cook. keeping the house free of easy snacks and processed ready to eat shit is one of the ways i trick myself away from nickel and diming my way to being unfuckable.

Also duuudes TOOOTALLY fucking care about numbers. I have a bro who, gained a bit of weight, and still refuses to buy XXL shirts because "he's just not THAT big." His gut and arms are straining the fabric on his XLs but OK.

I weigh more than I look; I hold a lot of weight in my thighs which are usually covered up by pants. So when its time to get romantic with a fuckboi from the internet, who has already seen my pics, when they try to get me in the mood by asking for stats, some of them definitely freak out when I give them actual numbers. It's like...you saw the product and wanted to buy it but now you scared?

But you have to admit, being accused of catfishing with your own pictures is a huge ego boost.
