Hiking date - yes but not as a first date

Both parties need to be able to make a graceful exit at any point, so rather make it a stroll in a city park not getting stuck with somebody annoying in the woods

I met my wife on Yahoo personals in '98. We we're internet friends for a year. Our first date was a picnic in the woods. Only I didn't bring food. I was an idiot 17 year old. Looking back that is a totally valid concern lol
