Babies are probably the #1 dealbreaker or dealmaker in a relationship. Just end it if you are sure you won't ever want one, and your partner does. Especially if you're older than 30.

Sounds to me like the partner doesn't WANT one, but they wouldn't get rid of one.

Yes, she's saying she'd be OK with having one, just unplanned. I think people who say this kind of thing end up wanting planned kids some time in the future.

Why not find someone who also doesn't want kids?

b/c sometimes the person you want is the person you want. Bear and i have had this conversation a lot. i'm ambivalent at best about becoming a mother, but he is straight up no kids. i had to get right with Jesus about that to be with him. anybody else's baby i'd have no problem sucking right out of my downstairs, but i'm still not sure i'd be able to go through with terminating his child, push comes to shove, and he knows that. bottom line, there just isn't anybody else in the world i'd rather have that issue with. it's him. point blank. whatever fall out from whatever decision we're faced with making regarding that, well, i'd rather face it with him than go off and find somebody else. he's irreplaceable.

it's not an answer to the problem, but an acknowledgment that Love can really tip the scales over best sense, prudence, or "right" answers.

What a scary situation. Run like hell. Al Quaeda is less terrifying.

oh, yeah. i went with the 'run like the wind' option b/c it is the best, prudent, right answer. it's up to this guy to decide how his feelings about this woman play into that.

Yeah, I don't get why guys just don't get a vasectomy.

It has way less side effects than birth control.
