I am typing this through tears. I have two auto-immune diseases and I am unable to work from home. I am really scared. I’m only a few minutes into this episode and I don’t know if I can finish this episode. The only other episode I am unable to listen to is episode #1 (I’ve tried multiple times to listen to that one but I just can’t. LOL)

This ep reminded me of ep 182 when Chemda was on tour Skyping in. Oh how innocent we all were then.
As for coronavirus and sports events, it's kind of weird that they cancel the Formula 1, where everyone has helmets and full-body firesuits, including the pit crews, but they run the UFC, where people get pretty much naked and bleed on each other for 15 minutes. If it's not a secret, what type of work do you do? |

Glad Chemda is staying safe. Better potentially overreact than not take it seriously enough!
This might take a lot longer than we'd like so I suggest getting Chemda a proper mic at home. |

I'm from Northern Michigan, in an area that's quiet most of the year, but a tourist destination in the summer. At the grocery store where I work, we started getting calls from people down state and out of state seeing what we had for supplies. A lot of people of means are fleeing the cities to come to their cottages and lake houses and ride this out. They're making the best of it and basically having an extended spring break. I think they figure they'd rather be in a less confined area if Michigan their respective state goes on full lockdown. Some of them drove from as far away as Chicago, which is about 6 hours away. |

Sometimes, I feel like being in Oklahoma is a different country compared to NYC. The other day you were talking about the plastic bag ban in NYC. I went to a disability resource fair at the Goodwill later that day. They literally had hundreds of plastic bags out for us to take and fill with their fliers. We’ve had 8 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and our schools haven’t closed yet. They are on spring break but still claim to be opening next week. My husband works in a large steel shop and they still have no plan what to do if someone there is diagnosed. They did announce they will not be stopping production under any circumstances. That’s all they’ve had to say about it. The churches are still churching. Chic fil a has closed their indoor dining. That’s the only major change I’ve heard of locally.
Glad Chemda is being safe and that you guys are STILL making shows for us regardless. That’s what makes this show the best. |

Our mayor has banned any gatherings of 50 or more. Many say it'll be about 48 hours before all restaurants and bars are forced to close. My partner and I are on self-quarantine. It's like a fucking movie.
The good news is that the Chiefs will be the longest reigning Superbowl champs of all time. Last edited by punk'n; 03-16-2020 at 08:59 AM. |
