Ah, culural differences.
When we go out with a group of people in Germany there is only 2 ways to deal with the check. 1. one of the people says: I’m inviting you. There might be some polite fighting, like, no I invite you! But overall one person pays everything, that’s it. 2. everyone pays for what they had. You go to the server and say: “ I had the pasta with death caps and 2 Coca Cola lights. And the cappuccino”. The server charges you for that. I was a server for a long time and it works out ok. |

Splitwise is an amazing app for all this check splitting stuff. Last couple group trips we used it. Everyone just adds their receipts to the list in the app and who participated in each event and at the end it balances up all the receipts and you pay or receive the balance from everyone and it marks people as complete once they’ve paid. Best way to handle group events or trips.

Listening to Chemda talk about wanting to be on Family Fued*I totally get that immigrant thing! That being said my husband's family was on a few years ago and we went to the taping...made me dislike Steve Harvey even more, bleh. And what I remember the most, they were bussing us off the set and stopped me and said families only, ha. They were the Mosley family: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kF1...ew?usp=sharing
